Ofertas de TrabajoDos puestos de trabajo en el University College of LondonPuesto#1 UNIVERSITY COLLEGE LONDON Wellcome Laboratory for Molecular Pharmacology POSITION: Postdoctoral Fellow LOCATION: The Wellcome Laboratory for Molecular Pharmacology (LMP) is part of the Department of Pharmacology at University College London, UK. PROJECT: We are looking for an enthusiast fellow, who would be interested in pursuing an academic career in the field of Neuroscience and have experience in one of the following: molecular biology, characterisation of ion channels in heterologous expression systems, expression and purification of proteins or immunohistochemistry. We are interested in studying the functional role, regulation and membrane targeting of calcium-activated potassium channel complexes in the central nervous system. By combining molecular and electrophysiological techniques, we have been characterising the molecular basis of calcium-activated potassium channel function in different brain regions. The project requires a multidisciplinary approach and active interactions between members of the group with different expertise. The candidates will be part of an extremely strong neuroscience community at UCL. For further information concerning our research see: http://www.mpiem.gwdg.de/Forschung/forschung.html ELIGIBILITY: Ph.D. with excellent training in molecular biology, protein chemistry, electrophysiology or immunohistochemistry. SALARY: Posts funded by the Wellcome Trust. Starting salary: £ 20,267 - £ 24,193 plus £ 2,134 London allowance p.a., dependent on experience. Especial para EL MUNDO. 19 de abril de 2002. BRUSELAS.
